Guys,
per e-mail you have been sent, important information about the final exam, extra-credit, make-ups, grades, etc. is available here.

ANNOUNCEMENT 2
  Posted 4/3/2022
People, Folks, Guys, please note: 1) Test 5 coming up is worth, as per Homework/Tests schedule, 20% of your final grade. Please study super well for this test.  Suggestion: go through the "Test/Quiz Preparation and Instructions" page (if you have never done so)--link is in the left margin.

2) I have given you a lot of breaks in this class.  To those who have taken advantage of these breaks, here is another really big break for you: The term paper project is now optional. You don't have to do it if you don't want to. :)

3) However, if you still wish to do the term paper project, then Test 5 will be worth 10% and the term paper will be worth 10%. The topic, instructions, and due date for the term paper project are available via the link on the left.

4) If you have any questions then (a) make sure your e-mail is in the e-mail format specified in the syllabus, and (b) you must quote the exact wording of the sentence/paragraph that you are querying about. Otherwise, you may not get a response or I may ask you to resubmit your e-mail according to these instructions.

5) By the way, If you want to know why you were assigned some of the homework material for test 5, please consult the syllabus. Reminder: this is a really important class. (When democracy fails because of racism, ethnocentrism, etc., then there is chaos and thousands of innocent people, including children, are murdered--look at the horrendous tragedies in Ukraine, Yemen, etc., going on NOW, as you are reading these words.)

Guys: If anybody knows the answer to the following question posed by the Dilbert Cartoonist, Scott Adams, let me know: "If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?"
