| REQUIREMENTS FOR A TEACHER'S CERTIFICATION MINOR FOR MAJORS |
| Overall GPA of 3.0 or better. Before attempting this minor, students will have completed all requirements for a major in African American Studies and any other courses as indicated by TEI (Teacher Education Institute--see below). An application for the minor should be filed with the student's advisor. Additionally, an application for admission to the teacher-certification program must be filed with TEI. |
